Syon Park to Hounslow town centre walking and cycling improvements

Transport for London has launched a consultation on its proposal to extend the western section of Cycleway 9 between Syon Park and Hounslow Town centre, upgrade pedestrian crossings along the route, make side roads safer to cross, widen footways and explore opportunities for more planting and trees.

Ward councillors along the route have been briefed and have raised a number of queries including parking and loading, bus stop arrangements, provision and upgrade of pedestrian crossings, safety for all road users, and cooperation with other transport infrastructure providers such as Network Rail.

Your feedback is important. Please read the plans and complete the consultation by Monday 19th October via one of the routes outlined on the TfL website.

Representatives from TfL have also been invited to the relevant upcoming Area Forums.
